I'm so excited for all the changes! Painting is so transformative, but jeez, paint isn't cheap and it's so hard to choose the right color. Looks like you guys did. Bummed about the hassles of electrification and your job, little bumps in the road. I hope the hens take to the coop and start cranking out copious amounts of eggs, and that Reynard finds sustenance elsewhere.

I now can’t believe we were there at and in your beautiful place! Was it a dream? It’s so much fun to see all that you’re doing! Like I’m totally invested in it. 😆 Happy to hear about the henlets, and how they’re doing. And I love the color you all have chosen. And can’t believe I got to see, in person, THE coveted yellow chair. Love to you, dear one!

someday you will SIT in that chair whilst having a coffee the h has prepared, just before we go for a swim, after which we will take a turn about the property so our hair dries, followed by hungry hopeful roosters who hopefully do not peck at our bare legs b/c it leaves a mark and yes it will be as though a dream (except for the pecking part).

Sandra, what is the terrible job/thing that you can see coming? I re-read your post to figure it out and I’m stumped. Whatever it is I wish you strength and courage to “go straight through it “ 🥰

Aw thanks! But..I don't want to contaminate my blog with the absurdities of my job - I'm grateful for it, but sometimes it can be....challenging

I respect your choice to keep your blog alive in any way that you choose… but KNOW this- I’m here (as many others are) to support you in the good and hard times…if your job brings you darkness and struggle maybe it’s time to re-evaluate how you spend your time.

Your Friend,

Devereaux

Thank you! It means a lot. I have an...unusual job that is providing a great learning experience in how to deal with difficult people, in particular young men between the ages of 20-27. It's a job I need and appreciate for many reasons, lately it's gotten hard. It will get easier again.

Thank you! Today is a big day, most of the side that faces the street will be painted, so everyone in the village is going to be able to look up the hill and get an eyeful of the new look.
