Iām enjoying your writing and the adventures! I was telling my husband about the fox & chickens, so then we were googling about foxes. One website said foxes have the hardware of dogs (they are in the dog family) but the software of cats ššš We thought this quite hysterical.
I like foxes and have little foxes all over my house - i'm even wearing a little fox necklace right now...I sure don't want to hurt it but the flock is terrorized
Donāt know. We are going to try to keep the flock safer but itās a hard thing to teach a flock thatās been feral for decades, to trust imprisonment ā¦.
I hope you can trap it. This made me remember that when I was a kid my dad and I made a raccoon trap out of a plywood base and a metal mesh top with a door that lay on the ground on one end. The door flipped up when the animal entered and ate the food . The door was hinged with a repurposed - and GIANT- rat trap. It worked well.
